The concept of Facilities Management is to Maintain the facilities to ensure compliance.  This includes:

• Keep up-to-date inventory of the location of all sources

within the facilities (have maps or drawings, if necessary)

• Ensure storage is secure to stop the unauthorized removal of

radioactive materials.

• Keep ingress & egress of use of radiation controlled areas

to only Authorized Users

• Maintain security of visitors or unknown personnel from

having access to radioactive materials

• Encourage your employees to report potential issues
